Group: Money in Politics

Look like the candidate that has the most most get a chance in the election. So far we are completely through the democratic and republican election and we can tell the candidate that have money are left standing. It all about the money in these election, look at Mitt Romney, the rich guy. After going about half way though the election he gave the election because of McCain lead in the republican election but actually the shortage of money that he had use fro his canpagin. The two top democratic candidate Hillary and Barack have the must endorsement which have them million to waste on thier campighin, the other candidates didn't really. So to really have a chance in politics, you got to have the money.

Group: Money in Politics: Good or Bad?

Money is HAWTTT

In actuality, money controls politics. It's a sad but inevitable fact. Just take a look at the candidates running for president; which is NOT a millionaire?!! Sure, they worked hard in most cases and probably earned their money, but the rich are not always working in the BEST interest of the common American. Money is only bad when it begins to influence legislature to the point that they seem like bribes. We've already gone against the very foundation that our founding father set for this country: we've become a welfare state babysitting people rather than protecting them, created factions which George Washington warned us about, and have let special interests rule the people. But at the same time, I don't want the homeless guy who screams at people running our nation or the guy who can't manage his own money. Yuppppp.

Group: Money

Money completely CONTROLS politics, not just affects it and its a terrible thing. Money determines how much you see a politicians face on the TV, the web, the radio, and on bus ad's.
Money is a terrible thing to have in something as important as a political race. The rules should be that there is a set amount of money any candidate can spend on their campaign, weather it is campaign funding or from their pocket. they cannot spend more than that amount - that way - were not bombarded with Clinton, Obama, Huckabee, and Mccain - and that way Nader has a fair shot too.

Group: Money in Politics

Money definitely affects politics. Politics is in fact run by money and the bigger the quantity of money in your possession the better the chances of you being elected. Almost every candidate out there puts some sort of advertisement about themselves to try and get people's votes. So far candidates running in the primaries have spent from $30-120 million dollars on advertisements and other things for their campaign and will continue to spend more till election day in November of 2008 comes around. The ones who have more money can advertise more via television or some other forms of advertising. Money should be allowed to be spent to advertise yourself but overall it is a bad way to really even the playing field and get people to choose the candidate on what matters: their opinions, stands, beliefs, etc. The money allowed to be spent should be limited to a lower and more reasonable amount than 100-200 million and more like $50 million which is easier for other candidates to compete with and therefore they can focus more on the issues and less on who was seen more on TV ads.

Group: Nader

Ralph Nader, the lovable looser of the presidency has decided last minute to run yet again for the job. Surprisingly, this year, hes gotten some media attention though thanks to his unconventional step-in, which may garner him a few votes, but hes still going nowhere fast honestly. As long as it steals a bit of the numbers away from McCain, I'll give him my vote...on top of which, we need more environmentalists in the government, seeing as how we're already starting wars over oil.

Elections

Election:
the act of selecting someone or something; the exercise of deliberate choice.

Elections

With Nader entering the election and the democratic election about to choose a candidate for their bid of the presidential election is going to exciting election cause now it any one chance to win.. expect Nader. I am hoping that the democratic will win, but that proves to be a problem with Nader entering the election and stealing some vote from the democratic. In the republicans side of the election, the republican are cheering for Nader entry in the election and show that they are not going down without a fight. So it look like be a very exciting race to become president.

Elections:

As much as i hate to believe it, the elections are going to the republicans - and its really hard for me to see it going any other way. As soon as McCain was whittled down to the last real contestant, with the Demmies going still into heated debates about who is going to actually run, its pretty much sealed. Personally, i blame both Clinton and Obama for not looking for the good of their party. Cause its clear to me that both of them are too selfish for their own gain to do anything to help the Dems win. Now were going to be stuck with another GOP jerk. good job.

Elections:

The people will vote for the president of the USA they see fit in November 2008.
